Michael Ashley joins DigitasLBi as creative director of Atlanta

Michael Ashley, who previously served as creative director at Mullen’s Pittsburgh branch, will now be taking up the same role at DigitasLBi’s Atlanta office.

In this role, he will lead Atlanta’s creative team while developing concepts, stories, and campaigns for clients. Ashley will also be responsible for driving creative projects and proposals for internal and new business initiatives.

He will report to New York and Atlanta’s executive creative director Atit Shah, while partnering closely with North American chief creative officer Ronald Ng.

Of Ashley’s appointmemt, Ng said: “Michael is a brilliant creative leader, with a keen ability to tell beautiful brand stories. I can’t wait to witness the great ideas and superb work that he’ll bring to our Atlanta office – and beyond.”

Before Mullen, he served as creative director at both BBDO New York and JWT New York.

Ashley has worked for clients including Starbucks, General Electric, and Smirnoff. His work has been recognized with Cannes Lions, CLIOs, Andy’s, Effies, and more.
