The EU’s funding programme to support the cultural, creative and audio visual sectors, Creative Europe, has worked with Music to create a website for Creative Europe Desk UK.

Led by the British Council and the British Film Institute, in partnership with Arts Council England, Creative Scotland, Welsh Government and Arts Council of Northern Ireland with support from the UK Department for Culture, Media and Sport and the European Commission, Creative Europe Desk UK aims to offer advice and information to UK-based professionals.

Designed as an information-hub with details on how to access funding and opportunities through the €1.46bn funding programme, the site presents a visually engaging platform including a catalogue of funded projects, training and networking opportunities and information to support applicants.

Angieszka Moody, director of Creative Europe Desk UK, commented: “We are delighted to be unveiling our new website to our audiences in cultural, creative and audiovisual sectors, in the UK and beyond. We hope that our current visitors will enjoy the contemporary style and user-friendly navigation of our new website and that this new online platform will allow us to reach out to new audiences and to inform them about the exciting funding and opportunities available through Creative Europe.”

Music held user experience workshops with key stakeholders in the UK creative sectors to assist with the website build. A modern minimalist design has been used to reflect the Creative Europe Desk UK branding.

Creative director at Music, Oliver Wigglesworth, said: “The new website we have designed simplifies the user experience and gives a platform for the visually rich projects Creative Europe supports. The next stage of the campaign will be the launch of a brand film that explains the mission of the organisation.”

The website is fully responsive across all platforms and aims to reflect the cutting edge creative sectors it communicates with.
