Brand Union hires worldwide strategic growth director

The Brand Union has appointed Iain Ellwood to the role of worldwide strategic growth director as it looks to build additional services and capabilities for clients.

Ellwood has spent the past three years heading up his own management consultancy, Senate. Prior to that, he spent seven years at Interbrand as head of consulting.

He reports to Brand Union chief executive Simon Bolton.

“I am delighted that Iain is joining Brand Union. He has many years of experience advising businesses at C-Suite level and he is an expert at helping brands reach their full potential to deliver growth,” said. Bolton.

Iain starts on 11 May will work closely with John Shaw, worldwide head of strategy and planning, and the regional strategy heads to develop additional services and content that supports Brand Union’s offer.
