Whirlpool appoints ODD to tackle the UK market

Home appliance brand Whirlpool UK has selected ODD as its agency of record.

The appointment marks the beginning of a long-term strategic and creative partnership for the UK market with ODD tasked with developing a fully integrated strategy to launch key products.

Juan Pillay, head of marketing UK and Ireland at Whirlpool commented: “This is an important time for Whirlpool as we continue to expand our product offering and presence in the UK market. ODD displayed a strong strategic understanding of our brand and the sector. Coupled with their creativity, we look forward to embarking on a new journey together.”

Managing director at ODD, Simon Glover, said the agency was “looking forward to a creative and long-term partnership” with Whirlpool during, what he called, an “exciting time for the brand”.

Creative work will roll out across press, social, retail and experiential throughout 2015.
