Victoria Plumbing has handed its £6m media planning and buying account to MediaCom Manchester.

The company has been appointed by the bathroom retailer to overseeing all ongoing media activity, with a focus on response and brand TV campaigns to target ABC1 women through a broad family focus.

Marcus Hall, head of Response at MediaCom Manchester, said: “It’s great to be building a long term relationship with a brand that not only has established such a strong reputation, but has the ambition and vision to continue to grow. Our direct response credentials at MediaCom Manchester are among the best in the UK, as is our track record of managing brands’ first inroads into TV; something we’re looking forward to overseeing for Victorian Plumbing.”

Joe Pascoe, marketing manager at Victorian Plumbing, added: “Our decision to work with MediaCom Manchester on our long-term media plans is both a mark of the potential we see for growth and our ambition to ensure we deliver against it. MediaCom Manchester has been able to demonstrate a unique understanding of TV campaign planning and the ability to deliver results efficiently and we’re delighted to have them on board.”

Last year, Victoria Plumbing released its first ever TV campaign, created by One Marketing, followed by a new campaign featuring 'Disco Dad' in February (see above.)
