The Atlanta Hawks are taking advantage of Twitter’s ability to sell things in Tweets, by selling tickets to NBA playoff games.

The team has begun by offering tickets to a playoff game against the Brooklyn Nets slated for next week.

Those interested in purchasing tickets can pay with a credit card, without actually leaving Twitter.

It is unclear whether Twitter will take a cut of the proceeds, but a source close to the initiative told Re/Code that it will not. However, this doesn’t mean that the social media giant won’t capitalize on its marketplace once it gains popularity.

Long term, Twitter has said that sales through tweets could increase its ad business, as brands begin to pay to add a “Buy” button to their profiles.

Earlier today, the social media giant threatened to ban users who were repeatedly abusive.
