A bored office worker has parodied the visual grandstanding of camera brand GoPro’s ads with a monotonous first-person account of his day at work.

The video, first spotted by AdWeek on Reddit, took viewers through a mind-numbingly boring day at his office, juxtaposing GoPro’s usual habit of getting millennials to partake in adrenaline pumping activities.

Explaining the slot, YouTube user Braziliandannny said: "I wore my GoPro to work one day and decided to edit the footage to the style of a GoPro Commercial."

He said that at his real estate firm "a lot of people are out with clients" and that he "also waited till it got quiet to film the printer/bathroom/kitchen stuff".

“My worst fear was walking into the bathroom with a GoPro on my chest and seeing someone at the urinal like WTF dude?," he added.

Some users on the Reddit thread accused the video of being a GoPro marketing stunt, which was quickly denied by the uploader: "I do not work for GoPro. I wish I did and was actually paid to make this video."
