Brand Vine Chart: Adidas sees Angel Di Maria trick corner come out on top
Welcome to The Drum's Brand Vine chart, powered by Burst, the short-form social video specialists.
The chart is ranked on the number of loops generated by brands on the video sharing service each week.
A video of Manchester United winger Angel Di Maria pulling of a curling finesse corner strike as part of Adidas’ #therewillbehaters campaign takes the top spot this week.
The footage of the £59.7m player boosted Adidas UK’s loop count by 955 per cent.
Next is a confounding image from Nasa celebrating 25 years of stunning photography from the Hubble telescope, which the space-faring organisation claims is a household name. It saw a loop increase of almost 65 per cent.
In third is Major League Baseball, which Vined this stunning over-the-wall catch from George Springer, denying the Texas Rangers victory in a fixture which ended in a hard-fought 4-4 draw.
The catch increased MLB’s loops by 15 per cent.
Puma, Best Buy, HTC and Manchester United also made it into the chart this week.
