Bloomberg signs Microsoft as first ad partner for London City Airport Hub

Bloomberg Media has signed an advertising deal with tech giant Microsoft for its hub experience at London City Airport (LCY), marking the first time Bloomberg has offered advertising inventory to a third party.

Microsoft will showcase real-life stories to in a bid to promote its cloud offering as well as promote how it enables people and businesses to "revolutionise" the way they work. The videos will be aired on the Media Wall in the heart of the business travel hfor the next three months.

The 'Bloomberg Hub' was launched in May last year as the product of a three-year agreement between Bloomberg and LCY to deliver a technology-driven passenger experience. It provides timely and relevant news updates and data to the 3.65 million passengers who travel through the airport each year.

This partnership delivers a highly targeted and engaging media platform to showcase the incredible results our customers are achieving with the help of our technology, in a way that adds value for business travellers during their London City experience.”

The Media Wall in the hub consists of 12 55-inch Ultra HD 4K screens and hosts a mixture of curated Bloomberg and travel content.
