Mazda has teamed with creative collaboration platform Talenthouse to invite UK designers, illustrators and visual artists to design a car wrap for the new Mazda MX-5 model.

The car marque is asking for entries that reflect Mazda's global campaign "Defy Convention" and Kodo car design, which represents natural motion.

The selected artist will have their car wrap design produced and showcased on the MX-5 at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in June. They will also receive £3,000, mentoring from Mazda's creative team to produce their final design and coverage of their work via the car marque's social media channels.

Claire Andrews, marketing director at Mazda, said the partnership with Talenthouse will allow the company to "encourage a new generation" to engage with the Mazda brand in a creative way.

Designers, illustrators and visual artists have until 20 May at 6pm to submit their ideas on the Talenthouse website.
