As Meerkat and Periscope begin to dominate the telemetric scene, there’s another contender in town, Visor.

Visor allows anyone, anywhere to see what’s happening at any chosen location.

For example, if a person in New York wanted to see what was happening at Drum headquarters in Glasgow, he could send out a request. Everyone near Drum headquarters would receive a ping and then one of those people could answer the request with a picture of the office.

“Something special is happening when people use the app,” the app’s founder, Jason White told TechCrunch. “They seem to light up like a kid at a magic show and become excited about what’s possible. I personally answered someone in Hong Kong looking to see local weather conditions and asking what he should pack for an upcoming trip to New York.”

The app has not been monetized yet, but could be in the near future as brands seek ways to have pictures of their products pinged to users.
