Brand agency Tayburn has appointed Nathan Fulwood to the newly-created role of innovation director.

Formerly head of marketing technology at digital agency Realise, Fulwood will work with the senior team at Tayburn’s Edinburgh office to help the agency’s clients deliver “remarkable brand journeys” using digital channels and emerging technology. He will also play an important role in Tayburn’s growth through the development of key partnerships.

Tayburn’s managing director, Simon Farrell, said: “This is a key strategic hire for Tayburn. We’ve just posted our best financial performance in over 10 years amidst some significant transformation. We’ve just launched a new, more focused proposition and we have changed our internal processes and how we run the business.”

Fulwood said: “This is a hugely exciting time to join the team at Tayburn, the whole agency is focused on delivering remarkable brand journeys. The role of digital, from the use of data and platforms, to the creative use of emerging technology to deliver unique brand experiences, is more important than ever. I look forward to working as part of a truly integrated team to help Tayburn and our clients continue to innovate.”

Tayburn’s clients include Crosse & Blackwell, Standard Life, Heineken and Toshiba.
