Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign kicks off with Facebook timeline
US presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton is seeking to connect with voters by taking them on a trip down memory lane courtesy of a Facebook timeline featuring a pictorial history of the political power couple.
Charting Clinton’s rise through the ranks of the Democrat party to become secretary of state, as well as a previous spell in the White House as First lady, the page features images, short descriptions and anecdotes pulled from throughout her career and university days.
This kicks off with a sepia tinted snap from the seventies with Clinton standing proudly next to her bouffant soon to be husband and future president of the United States.
The move is an attempt to get Clinton’s campaign back on track following a rocky start in which it was revealed she had used a personal email account to conduct official business.
