Storage bag and container brand Ziploc has rolled out a spot called ‘Tough Mother’ that features real-life moms battling an obstacle course that plays on the struggles mothers face every day.

The minute and a half long spot promotes the brands new easy open tabs, which bills the Ziploc bags as ‘easier to use than ever before, even in the stickiest of situations.’

One mother tries to toss meatballs into cartoon children’s mouths on a board only to see them bounce right off.

“Looks like it regurgitated there. It’s like they don’t want them,” one announcer at the competition comments.

The ad, created by Energy BBDO, ends with the message, ‘Tough mothers deserve easy open tabs.’

The campaign also features a series of extended-cut films that showcase each mother’s individual run through the course.

Ziploc partnered with Tough Mudder, a series of intense 10-12 mile obstacle race and mud run events, for the campaign.
