Samsung’s latest global spot ‘Next is Now’ showcases the company’s new Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge phones while reminding viewers that the future is finally here.

The ad cleverly parallels life’s everyday anticipations with the anticipation of the new Galaxy phones, with the message being that the nerves, excitement, and anxiety surrounding what’s next are always worth it.

Opening with a woman about to jump off of a cliff into a lake, the ad follows a number of different people as they prepare for something big, whether it’s passing a note to a crush, blowing out candles on a birthday cake, or hitting a piñata.

The minute-long spot, called ‘Anticipation,’ will air online and on broadcast. It features singer-songwriter Rita Ora as she prepares to record the single ‘New York Raining.’

Ora said:” Partnering with Samsung for the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge is especially exciting to me because the product combines my love for design with the most innovative technology.”

72andSunny created the spot. The agency was named on Samsung’s global roster last year. It’s the agency’s first global campaign with the brand but its fifth Galaxy S phone launch.

It will include international media including broadcast, digital, experiential, out-of-home, and retail activations led by the agency.
