PepsiCo’s Mountain Dew has rolled out a spot called ‘Rebel Spirit’ to promote its new ‘DEWshine’ drink.

The clear, citrus flavored drink, made with real cane sugar and sold in glass bottles, was inspired by the individuals who created the first batch of Mountain Dew in the 1940’s.

The brand has been on a sampling tour along the Dixie Highway to promote the drink.

It will end in Bristol, Tennessee at Nascar’s Bristol Motor Speedway race on 19 April and will feature Dale Earnhardt, Jr. along with his car decked out in DEWshine branding.

The company also plans to create content with the racecar driver along with country music group Florida Georgia Line.
