General Electric’s newly launched mascot the 'Invention Donkey' snags the Ad of the Day.

Featured in a video underpinning the Invention Donkey’s takeover of General Electric’s social media channels, the lil’ guy shows just how easy it is to power the planet.

The quirky slot, devised and enacted by BBDO New York, also makes a mockery of how other companies could try to change the world with the launch of a mobile app:

“You just ran into a little donkey that grants wishes and you want an app?”
