Associated British Foods global category lead - media & marketing services, Andrew Lowdon is to be the keynote speaker at this years RAR awards.

As the procurement lead for AB Foods in the marketing category Lowdon manages a budget in excess of £200m across well known brands including; Twinings, Ovaltine, Pataks and Kingsmill.

Steve Antoniewicz MD, RAR commented: “AB Foods is an amazing business and it’s great for us to have some one of Andrew’s experience address our audience on awards evening. He manages a huge marketing and media spend across ABF’s grocery, retail and ingredients businesses. And that spend crosses just about every category of marketing so Andrew’s perspective will be very relevant for the audience on the evening.”

The RAR awards recognise agencies performing at a high level as judged by brands and uses the RAR system of ratings.

Lowdon said: “I’m delighted to be asked to attend this year’s RAR awards and take part in what I hear is a great event. Part of my role at AB Foods is to ensure our agencies perform effectively for the business so the RAR awards are very apt. As a client I know often we can be harsh critics and the standard of performance we expect. So winning an award based on the experience of your clients is a great signal of a very successful agency. Congratulations due to all the finalists and I look forward to hearing the results on the night ”

The RAR awards ceremony takes place on the 22 April at the Marriot Grosvenor Square, London. The Awards shortlists can be found here and you can purchase tickets here.

The RAR digital awards take place in June and is still open for ratings.
