Creative agency David&Goliath (D&G) has appointed Mike Geiger as managing partner and chief digital officer.

In this role, he will be responsible for developing digital strategy, creative, integration, and content production.

The hire is part of D&G’s growth plan and follows a recent string of executive promotions including Colin Jeffery’s appointment as chief creative officer.

The agency has also recently won business for Jack in the Box, LG Mobile, and ZICO Coconut Water.

Geiger previously served as president, chief integration officer, NA at J. Walter Thompson. Before that, he spent nearly nine years at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners.

Of the appointment, Geiger said: “I’m really excited to return to an independent creative agency like D&G where I can be closer to the people and the work. When I first met with David and the rest of the team, we just clicked – we had the same values and vision for how to run a business. I can’t wait to get started.”

Throughout his career, Geiger has won numerous awards for his work at shows including One Show Interactive, Cannes Lions, and the CLIOs.
