Archibald/Williams appoints Matt Gilmour as first executive creative director
Archibald/Williams has appointed Saatchi & Saatchi's Matt Gilmour as executive creative director, a new role for the agency.
Gilmour, who will work to lead the creative at Archibald/Williams, began his career in the industry as an art director with Saatch & Saatchi in Australia in 2003. From there he moved to the US to join Crispin Porter + Bogusky before joining BBDO Atlanta as VP creative director.
Gilmour then returned to his native Australia to rejoin Saatchi & Saatchi as creative director. While there he launched the global Joyville campaign for Cadbury.
Co-founder Bram Williams commented: "We're super excited to have Matt on board. I loved working with him years back at Saatchi - and his creative leadership and style will be a real asset at Archibald / Williams."
The agency, founded in 2012, counts News Corp Australia, Citibank, Nando’s and Syngenta among its clients.
Last week Archibald/Williams appointed Chris Yong as managing director.
