It's official, advertising works! Final Advertising Week Europe Piccadilly Circus poll revealed
Our final Advertising Week Europe Piccadilly Circus poll revealed that advertising really does work with a whopping 91 per cent of respondents admitting they have been persuaded to buy something by an advertising campaign in 2015.
Those of you who took part cited various reasons from ‘right place at the right time’ to buying clothes from targeted ads.

@TheDrum #ThuYes some of these have definitely buy and use their products and services more than 2014 @dominos @facebook @thetrainline — Alex Boothe (@AlexBoothe92) March 26, 2015
@TheDrum #ThuYes Frequently, but usually I have to have an existing interest/loyalty to the brand, so it's a call to action of sorts — Peter Wittland (@PeterWittland) March 26, 2015
@TheDrum #ThuNearly #ThuYes did go into a Clarks shop once after a targeted FB ad showed me lovely brogues, but sadly they didn't quite fit — Lisa Riemers (@lisariemers) March 26, 2015
Just nine per cent claimed advertising had not prompted any purchases.
@TheDrum Ads reinforced my intent to (or not to) buy but rarely swerve opinion. JustEat & Domino's 2-4-tues emails win #ThuNo #AWEurope.
