Starbucks has started to reveal plans that will allow consumers to order the company’s food and drinks straight to their door.

Through a collaboration with Postmates, an on-demand delivery service, Starbucks addicts can order items through the Starbucks mobile app and receive orders within defined areas.

The pilot is expected to begin in Seattle in the second half of 2015.

The company is also rolling out a second delivery model that Starbucks chief digital officer Adam Brotman said on a company blog “is perfect for densely populated environments like office buildings – which is exactly where we’ll have baristas on hand to provide an exclusive delivery service."

Starbucks will be testing this model – called “green apron delivery” – in New York City at the Empire State Building during the second half of the year.
