M&C Saatchi PR welcomes Gary Wheeldon-Doyle to the newly created role of global managing director

Gary Wheeldon-Doyle has been appointed as global managing director of M&C Saatchi PR.

The newly created role follows a year of international growth for the agency and sees Wheeldon-Doyle charged with spearheading the agency’s drive to expand into new economies and markets.

Of the appointment global chief executive officer, Molly Aldridge, commented: “As the business continues to expand internationally, it is essential we appoint a globally connected, strategic partner to further drive that development, support the teams and to maintain our quality creative product worldwide. Gary brings a wealth of big brand and multiple market experience and his appointment forms part of our ambitious global growth strategy.”

Wheeldon-Doyle added: “I look forward to the opportunity to deepen the footprint that M&C Saatchi PR has already made across international markets. A lot of agencies claim to have global presence but few have the genuine ability to deliver at a local level. The business is developing at a rapid rate and to be part of that growth at this stage is very exciting.”

Formerly a senior director at freuds, Wheeldon-Doyle will join M&C Saatchi PR in April working with Aldridge, UK managing director Chris Hides and the recently appointed US managing director Laura Hall.
