MTV’s Ben Hack named head of experiential at Sunshine

Creative agency Sunshine has announced the hire of MTV’s Ben Hack as its head of experiential, a role involving leadership in the businesses events and experiential activities.

Hack’s joins Sunshine from Viacom International Media Networks, where he was responsible for devising and executing marketing campaigns and live events for brands including MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central.

This included overseeing all off-air experiences at eight MTV Europe Music awards in addition to events for clients such as Swatch, ck one, VW Beetle, and Coca-Cola.

Sunshine CEO Kit Hawkins said: “Ben has unparalleled experience in creating events and experiences that are landmarks in popular culture. It will be exciting for our clients to have access to his creative brilliance and deep experience and knowledge in delivering large scale productions.”

Hack added, “I’m excited to have joined Sunshine and look forward to playing a central role in growing the live event and experiential offering within the agency.”

Sunshine has previously delivered events such as Chime for Change for Gucci, Girl Effect Live for Nike’s Foundation and the Shinola brand launch.
