Nissan has released a long-form documentary series - 'From a Dream to Dubai' - the latest show to come out of its North America’s GT Academy series.

The 30-minute documentary series, which will air on Hulu, is a sequal to the initial six-part competition reality show which saw some of North America’s best Sony PlayStation’s Gran Turismo gamers compete to become professional racing drivers for Nissan.

This series tells the story of 21-year-old Nic Hammann, winner of the 2014 GT Academy and his journey at the professional racecar event '24 Hours of Dubai.'

Hammann won the fourth season of GT Academy, which aired from November through December of last year on Spike TV and Hulu.

After coming to New York City for the 2014 GT Academy North American finals and qualifying with 11 other contestants, the Wisconsin native advanced to race camp at Silverstone Circuit in the UK before becoming champion.

In the documentary, viewers can find out how Hammann performs in his first professional race.

The special was created in partnership with TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles.
