Welcome to The Drum's Buzzword BBQ, where media commentator Paul McEntee speaks to some of the marketing luminaries attending this year's South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin. During each interview he will discuss the major trends and fascinating things to be found at the festival with senior marketing attendees and ask them to choose a buzzword being used widely at the festival to burn onto a succulent piece of steak so they can literally eat their words.

For today's BBQ Buzzword, Paul McEntee catches up with Ambarish Mitra, CEO of Blippar, who chooses the word 'curious'.

Discussing his company's new ‘visual browser’, which

was unveiled at SXSW yesterday, Milta explains why Blippar is ditching the keyword tools used by traditional search engines and instead adopting an approach that will feed natural human curiosity.

Mitra then goes on to explain how the new technology works and address privacy concerns, before eating his own beefy BuzzWord.

Check out the BBQ Buzzword choice of Rob Begg, vice-president of enterprise strategy for Hootsuite.
