SXSW launches on-demand streaming service, available on Roku and Youtube
South By Southwest (SXSW) has launched a free, on-demand service, SXSW On, that will feature performances from the festival, original programming, and interview, among other things.

The service will be available on Youtube, and on Roku in the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland. This will be the first time SXSW will be featured on smart, streaming devices.
“The SXSW On channel provides Roku customers with a unique entertainment experience they can’t find on any other streaming platform,” said Ed Lee, vice president of content at Roku. “For the first time, people from around the world will be able to view the excitement and entertainment of SXSW live without buying a plane ticket to Austin.”
The SXSW festival and conference will kick-off later this week.
