Tesco updates Easter egg branding for Finest range with Parker Williams

Tesco has introduced a range of Tesco Finest Easter Eggs with packaging by Parker Williams as it looks to stand out in the "over populated" market.

The branding and packaging design agency has developed designs for both Tesco's modern and vintage product variants, using brighter colours for the modern range and a softer colour palette for the vintage.

Parker Williams incorporated the Tesco Finest logo in a dark bold sphere, to stand out against the vivid colours and contrasting ribbon stripes.

Meanwhile the newly crafted vintage range uses pink, green, yellow and brown pastel tones to complement the chocolate.

Included in the 12-product vintage range is an egg coop, which comes with a netted metal front and wooden box.

Tracy Deacon, new product design manager impulse at Tesco, said: ‘’Inspiring packaging ideas can make a big impact to increase awareness and sales in a modern 'over populated' product world, Parker Williams designed a fresh eye-catching Finest design which is simple yet stunning so it stands out against the multifaceted brand designs that fill our shelves."

The Tesco Finest Easter egg range is available in stores from now until Easter.
