Droga5 New York hires Rob Trostle as executive design director

Rob Trostle is joining the Droga5 New York headquarters in the newly created role of executive design director.

In this new role, he will oversee and grow the design department and its capabilities as he rolls out the creative vision for the team.

Most recently, Trostle founded a company called Golden Arm that explores the relationship between business and design while cultivating stories for forward-thinking brands.

In the past he has worked at agencies including Mother and Anomaly, working with clients such as Cole Haan, Target, and Johnson & Johnson.

Of the appointment, Trostle said: “Given Droga5’s breadth of work and innovative approach, I am greatly looking forward to leading the design department in continuing to deliver integrated, strategic, and compelling creative work across all disciplines.”

Trostle also been teaching advertising concepts and campaigns at Parsons The New School for Design for the past four years in NYC.
