Integrated media communications agency Boutique has made two new appointments to its senior team.

Joining from Principles Agency, Alex Clarkson joins Boutique as client services director. Clarkson has previously worked across a range of integrated clients, predominantly in the tourism, health and retail sectors, and will play a key role in developing full-service communications strategies for new and existing clients.

Boosting its digital offering, Boutique has also welcomed James Wood, formerly of MediaCom in Manchester, into the newly created role of head of digital delivery. Having worked on big brands including Hillary’s Blinds, DFS and Dreams, as well as travel, ecommerce and finance clients, Wood will be managing the digital team as it continues to expand its client portfolio.

Elliot Jones, digital director of Boutique, said: “We’ve been experiencing an exciting level of growth in the last year, so it’s a great time for us to add to the team. Alex and James are testament to our policy of only employing the most enthusiastic and creative minds.”

Leeds-based Boutique’s recent wins include Costcutter Supermarkets Group and Coral Windows & Conservatories.
