Karndean Designflooring looks to personalise the customer journey with Lab

Karndean Designflooring has appointed digital agency, Lab, to re-develop the brand’s website and deliver an increased level of personalisation for visitors.

Karndean supplies realistic wood and stone effect luxury vinyl flooring globally through a network of independent retailers and directly to their commercial customers, mostly interior designers, architects and contractors.

The new website will use the Sitecore Experience Platform to personalise content and deliver a consistent experience across every touch-point on the path to purchase.

Heather Horton, head of digital and communications at Karndean, said: “We have a clear aim to continue to grow our sales in both retail and commercial sectors and to be the preferred brand for flooring worldwide. We know that choosing a new floor can be a stressful process so we feel strongly that delivering a personal experience online will enable us to help end-users find the perfect floor for their project and significantly improve the buying experience as a whole from search through to purchase.”

Karndean Designflooring operates in the UK, USA, Australia and mainland Europe and employs more than 300 people worldwide.
