McDonald’s compared its Big Mac ingredients to iconic films in its Oscars ad spot last weekend.

Set to the soundtrack of many a movie – Debussy’s ‘Clair de lune’ – the simple ad likens movies such as King Kong, ET, Jaws and The Silence of the Lambs to the fast food chain’s signature burger.

The reminder that ‘Lovin’ takes the right ingredients’ might be minimalist but we think McDonald’s played a winner with this one.
