Ad of the Day: GLAAD / GMHC - Celibacy Challenge
Star of stage and screen Alan Cumming provides some helpful tips for gay and bisexual men looking to donate blood under the FDA’s new rules.
While the ban on blood donations from gay and bisexual men has been lifted, there’s still a long way to go given that the FDA will only accept blood from those who have been celibate for at least a year.
The tongue-in-cheek message created by Saatchi & Saatchi New York sees Cumming as a spokesperson for the fictional ‘Department of Sexual Abstinence’ reeling off a host distracting of pass times.
The seemingly-innocent yet innuendo-laden list ends with a more sensible suggestion of signing GLAAD and the Gay Men’s Health Crisis petition to simply revise the guidelines.
