TransferWise, a UK-based money transferring startup, has teamed up with both Space150 and VenureThree to share its message about the struggles faced by those transferring money internationally.

The first series of ads, already viewable in several subway stations, shows a giant $101 bill (above), meant to highlight and satirize high conversion rates and transfer fees.

"Knowing what we stand for so well, teaming up with VentureThree for our NYC launch made perfect sense,” said TransferWise USA’s general manager, Joe Cross. “Together we've translated our brand spirit into a disruptive, idea-driven advertising campaign that will help us challenge the banks for the mainstream consumer.”

The “disruption” is set to continue tomorrow with a 200-person naked protest calling for banking transparency in the financial district.
