Razorfish London has appointed Jim Mason to the role of executive director strategy and insight.

Transferring from the Razorfish Atlanta office, Mason joins the London team to formally establish and lead the practice - uniting strategy, insights, planning and analytics capabilities, supporting existing client teams and growing the account base.

Mason will be a member of the senior leadership team establishing the marketing strategy practice as a centre of excellence initially serving the UK before rolling out across Europe.

Michael Karg, Razorfish International chief executive officer and London chairman, commented: “Digital has become the centre of how brands engage with consumers; our marketing strategy practice is ideally suited to help clients transform their business to meet this new reality. In the 2014 Gartner Inc. noted Razorfish to be fortified and equipped to deliver these consultancy services to clients.”

Mason added that he was “delighted” with the move and that Razorfish was “perfectly positioned to provide consulting services formed with rigor and discipline.”

“We will be known for delivering actionable strategies that drive product innovation and business model transformation,” he said.

Mason brings 18 years of professional experience in solving business challenges for companies working with clients including Victoria’s Secret, J. Crew, Avon, Footlocker and Tiffany & Co.

At Razorfish Atlanta he led the strategy consulting discipline and sat on the senior leadership team. Prior to Razorfish Mason spent six years with Deliotte Consulting and was one of the early employees at Manhattan Associates designing and implementing technology solutions for multi-channel retailers.
