Adrienne Weissman, LinkedIn’s former director of marketing solutions, has joined G2 Crowd as chief marketing officer.
In her new role, she will focus on leading the G2 Crowd sales and marketing organizations and will be focused on creating integrated marketing campaigns. She will also engage current and new G2 Crowd customers and be responsible for helping generate additional traffic and visibility.
Weissman said in a statement: "I'm fortunate to be joining a team that's already built an impressive technology business with tens of thousands of reviews authenticated through LinkedIn, and hundreds of customers listing their products and offerings on G2 Crowd.”
Since LinkedIn authentication is a required quality and security measure for the platform, her experience will be beneficial: "I look forward to leveraging my knowledge and background of the LinkedIn platform as we continue to build out G2 Crowd," she said.
During her time at LinkedIn, she worked with brands including Microsoft, Ford, and Harvard to leverage the site as a content marketing and advertising platform.
