US teen tweets confusion as to why she’s been accused of killing Eastenders' Lucy Beale
A Twitter user from the US has been questioned about her apparent murder of Eastenders Lucy Beale on Twitter due to her sharing a name with the soap’s surprise murderer.
Californian teenager Bobbie Beale earlier this week expressed confusion as to why 'Scottish people' were bombarding her with tweets accusing her of murdering Lucy.
Beale expressed the sentiment in a now heavily shared tweet – to date receiving over 28,000 shares.
Why are 3 people from Scotland that I don't know, tweeting me about killing someone named Lucy...

Following the accusations the teen informed social media users she wasn’t behind the murder of Lucy Beale by sharing a selfie to differentiate herself from the soapstar.

The storyline was devised to celebrate the UK soap’s 30th anniversary with a story ark which saw it crowned the UK’s most tweeted about soap as viewers speculated on who was behind the offing of Ms Beale.
