British Airways has called on Antony Lee, chief executive officer of AIG Malaysia, Cheryl Yeoh, a local start-up entrepreneur, Tan Kee Keat, an architect, chef Christian Bauer and restaurateur Eddie Chew for a three-minute long film promote the airline’s Kuala Lumpur route.

The online film sees the entrepreneurs sharing their insights into orientating the city, communications in business meetings, developments in the city and what to do after hours.

“When we launch a new route, it is always a voyage of discovery, from seeking out the best local hotels, to deciding when business and leisure travellers would like to arrive and depart – we take understanding the cities we fly to, very seriously,” said Sara Dunham, head of marketing, retail and direct at British Airways.

“We know insider knowledge is also important to our customers, which is why giving them useful tips to help them understand every aspect of a new destination, is the best way of helping them step off our aircraft with confidence.”

Tim Hulse, editor of British Airways’ in-flight magazine ‘Business Life’ has also pulled together tips for British businesses travelling to Kuala Lumpur spanning traffic, business attire and etiquette.
