Lowe Open appoints Cheil's Emma Perkins as executive creative director

Lowe Open has named Emma Perkins as executive creative director.

Perkins, who was previously a creative director at Cheil with a focus on retail innovation, will reunite with former Saatchi & Saatchi X colleagues; chief executive, Anthony Hopper and Simon Goodall, current chief executive and chief strategy officer of Lowe Open.

Hopper described the appointment as “a landmark” for the business: “Having worked incredibly closely with Emma in the past, she is not only an exceptional creative, but also one of the smartest minds in the industry,” stated Hopper.

“Lowe Open is going from strength-to-strength, defining a new era of activation on a global stage. Having a world-class, multi-disciplined player such as Emma on board will only further our incredible trajectory.

“Both Simon and I are delighted to have Emma back on the team as we look towards a fantastic 2015 and beyond,” he added.

“This is about more than simply getting the old team back together,” said Perkins. “My motivations lie in building talented teams, who have a passion for producing outstanding work for our clients.’

“At Lowe Open, Anthony and Simon have created an environment and ambition that reflects those passions. I know this will allow me to create my most exciting work yet,” she added.

While at Saatchi & Saatchi X, the three were members of the senior executive team, where Perkins held the role of executive creative director.
