Threepipe has won the digital advertising account for the Rugby Football League (RFL), the governing body for Rugby League in England.

The multichannel marketing agency has been tasked with boosting ticket sales for the England Rugby League team, the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup, First Utility Super League, the Kingstone Press Championship and League One competitions.

Mark Foster, director of RFL marketing, said: “Threepipe has impressed us with the team’s industry knowledge, data-led approach, attention to detail and enthusiasm.

“We’ve been encouraged by the speed at which Threepipe has understood our marketing campaigns, the efficiency of the team’s work and ability to measure ROI. It’s given us the confidence to work on multiple campaigns including the launch of the First Utility Super League season.”

Farhad Koodoruth, co-founder at Threepipe, added: “We’re delighted to be working with the RFL on a number of projects this year. Their willingness to invest in digital advertising is providing them with strong returns and also offers unparalleled insights into their online customer base.”

The latest Threepipe RFL campaign is timed with the launch of the 2015 First Utility Super League season which kicked off this earlier week.
