Cineworld goers can sync movies to their calendars with new planner
Cineworld has launched a digital planner to enable movie goers to integrate movie releases with their digital calendars to ensure they never miss a flick.
The planner, built by digital creative agency Catch, can be syncronised with users’ iCal, Gmail, Yahoo or Outlook calendars on smartphone, desktop and tablet devices across Apple, Android and Windows operating systems.
Users can opt in for push notifications of 12 movie genre types, including event cinema, to remind them when they can attend the show.
Justin Skinner, vice president of marketing at Cineworld, said: “2015 is shaping up to be a great year of cinema and with such unmissable films, there’s never been a better time to launch our new Movie Planner."
The app also links users to Cineworld.com where users can book tickets.
