Encore and Applaws pet food brands have appointed Driven to promote the MPM-owned products.

The first work to come out of the win will focus on the Encore brand, which is sold through major grocery retail channels.

MPM managing director, Julian Bambridge, said the choice was “easy” and that he was looking forward to working with the team for “some time to come”.

“Driven have given us the confidence to be really challenging and we believe we have created some breakthrough work,” he added.

Nick Brookes, managing partner at Driven, commented: “We’re absolutely delighted with the win. It’s remarkable what MPM have created with their brands and the success they have achieved to date. We are really enjoying working with the team to create ideas that sell – which, given the power of the product propositions, shout out for a real clever simplicity in their execution. So the fit is perfect.”

The Encore work is set to debut this month (February) with a new TV advertisement directed by Marc Ingham through Chief Productions with Carat Manchester handling media planning and buying.
