Staysure partners with Fox Searchlight Pictures for The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel film tie-in

Travel insurer Staysure has joined forces with Fox Searchlight Pictures to become the official partner for The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, the follow up to the 2012 film, released 26 February.

The co-branded collaboration includes an integrated marketing campaign, fronted by two television adverts with supporting press, digital, direct customer communication, social media, and PR activity, launching 1 February.

The campaign offers new and existing customers who purchase an Annual Multi-Trip policy by 20 February 2015 a complimentary ticket to see the film. A second offer entitles customers who purchase travel insurance by 28 February the chance to win a luxury holiday for two to Jaipur, India with a stay in the real-life hotel where The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel was filmed.

Staysure chief executive, Ryan Howsam, said the brand was “delighted” to be partnering with Fox Searchlight Pictures adding that the partnership tied-in with Staysure’s new ‘Sure you can’ brand campaign empowering over 50s to fulfil their travel dreams.

TV creative and digital content will be created by Feref with LightBrigade PR managing the supporting PR campaign.

Staysure also has two pairs of tickets for the Royal Premiere of The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel on Tuesday 17 February up for grabs with winners chosen at random from two separate prize draws. Staysure’s customer database will be offered the chance to win if they complete s short travel survey and there will be a separate prize draw advertising on Staysure’s Facebook page.
