The day, which will offer publishers insight from experts and peers on the changing nature of the advertising business in media, will also hear from Lee Baker, director of The First Space, Malcolm Coles, director of digital media for Telegraph Group, Paul de la Nougerede, director of media products and operations for AOL Kate Whitelock, head of commercial marketing for Asos as well as many more media and advertising professionals.

Andy Oakes, managing director of The Drum, explained the thinking behind developing the event: “The traditional publishing business is on its knees. It's not about the old men in suits, it's about agile fast moving companies who react to how their audiences want to consume content. It's about innovative revenue models, it's about utilising social networks. It's all new but still some of the old companies lead the way. This event is about bringing together the exciting new developments of the new school with the experience of the old.”

The full list of speakers and further details of how to book can be found at The Drum's Media Slap homepage with the event set to take place on 23 April in London.
