The 2015 Super Bowl is just days away, and the advertising carnival already in full force, with major brands gearing up for another multimillion dollar bonanza. We speak to some of America's top executive creative directors for their favourite Super Bowl adverts from over the years. Next up is Kinney Edwards, executive creative director, Tribal New York whose pick is nothing if not hard hitting: Reebook's Terry Tate Office Linebacker.

The Reebok Terry Tate spot from 2003 is one of my all-time favorites.

It firmly breaks the athletic shoe commercial paradigm. It uses comedic storytelling, something I look for to break up the tension of the game.

I especially like all of the subtle and not-so-subtle inside jokes.

It’s filled with enough office culture references to connect with the audience, who probably wished they would see Terry in their office come Monday.

Especially when it comes to those pesky TPS reports.

The spot does exactly what a Super Bowl commercial should do in being surprising, entertaining and memorable.

Check out our dedicated Super Bowl hub for more news around the game.
