Lumene has appointed ‘the Bank’ as its global creative agency following a competitive four-way pitch.

The Finnish skincare and cosmeticscompany selected the Bank for global creative role, with it fending off interest from Grow, JWT London and Hasan & Partners.

The Bank is tasked with strengthening the Lumene brand image on a global scale as well as within its native market of Finland.

Susanna Takkunen, vice president of marketing at Lumene, said: “We are very excited about working with the Bank at this important time in the brand’s life.

“With them on board we truly believe that we will continue to accelerate the growth of the brand globally and will make it the brand of choice for woman of all ages.”

Tristan Connell, managing director at the Bank, added: “The Bank has recently celebrated its 10th year and we are delighted to go into 2015 with such an exciting and brave client. Lumene has a clear global ambition and a proven track record - we’re looking forward to putting the brand firmly on the map.”

Lumene sources and manufactures its skincare products in Finland from where it operates its primary markets in Scandinavia, the US, Russia and Asia.
