YouTube is going to bust out its biggest stars to steam an alternative half-time show during this year’s Super Bowl for the first time ever.

More than 100 million people watch the big game annually, and each year, more and more viewers are choosing to watch it online. The online halftime show is a good way for Youtube to capitalize on this shift.

The show, created in association with Collective Digital Studio, will stream during half time hoping to capture viewers by exploring what it takes to make a successful Super Bowl ad.

Beforehand, viewers can watch fake ads created by YouTubers including Harley Morenstein of EpicMealTime, and Freddie Wong. Some examples have already been released.

The show will be captured in YouTube’s Space in Los Angeles and will feature more than 20 of the site’s most popular musicians and channel hosts - who collectively have more than 60 million subscribers.

Although the firm has kept many of the stars who will be involved under wraps, it appears that the list will also include Youtubers Harley Morenstein of EpicMealTime, Freddie Wong, Rhett and Link and Toby Turner.

The content is available on the youtube.com/adblitz channel on smartphone, tablet or desktop where viewers can watch, share and vote for their favorite spots.
