Sonos unleashes pulsing optical illusion logo

Speakers firm Sonos has launched a new static logo which pulsates when viewers scroll up or down the page - thanks to an optical illusion.

The image, created by Bruce Mau Design (BMD) which has been working with the firm since 2011, pulses much like the brand’s speaker products, in a move that sees the branding go above and beyond to promote the firm's message.

On its Sonos partnership, BMD says on its website: “Together with Sonos, we assessed our initial visual identity and determined that we needed to push harder to signal Sonos’ leadership, relevance, and dedication to the music experience.

“This new iteration of the Sonos visual identity advances the idea of the modern music experience – not singular or monolithic but a rich diversity of expressions.”
