In a move to bring the publisher, founded in 2012, into the media big leagues, Turner will work across editorial, business development, PR and customer insight departments.

Turner joins from Northern & Shell, where she was director of sales and marketing for the Health Lottery until October 2014. She will report to 65Twenty co-founders Alex Solomou and Arian Kalantari.

Alex Solomou, co-founder of 65twenty said: “Mimi brings a breadth of editorial and commercial experience that will help develop all our brands. She also brings a warmth and perspective that has proved to be a very complimentary fit with the team.”

New appointee Mimi Turner added: “It’s incredibly exciting to join such an impressive, young and good-hearted business. TheLADbible is one of only three British companies to feature among top 15 most-visited sites in the UK, which reflects the connection we have built up with our audience.

“I am thrilled to be part of a team which has such huge ambition.”

65Twenty is a leading millennial publisher boasting 17 million followers on social media across its brands.
