Pizza Hut offers Vegemite Stuffed Crust Pizza in Australia Day celebration promotion
Pizza Hut Australia has unveiled a limited edition Vegemite pizza in its stores to celebrate Australia Day.
The ‘Mitey Stuffed Crust Pizza’ was launched today (Tuesday 20 January) with the firm looking recreate the popular Australian breakfast meal - toast and cheese and vegemite - with the special edition pizza.
The promotional meal will be available for three weeks from today in Australian Pizza Hut outlets. Furthermore, Vegemite can be added to any pizza in the Pizza Hut range for an additional $3 surcharge.

A Pizza Hut Australia spokesperson told News.AU: “The Mitey Stuffed Crust Pizza works unbelievably well with any of our topping combinations and we couldn’t think of a more quintessentially Aussie pizza to launch in time for Australia Day.”
Internationally, pizza delivery firms have had to prove willing to absorb local cuisines into their menus. Pizza Hut rival Domino’s last July launched the spicy banana pizza across India, recognising the fruit’s importance in South Indian cooking.
